Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day was originally called Saint Valentine’s Day. Do you know the story of Saint Valentine?

Saint Valentine was a priest who was imprisoned for helping persecuted Christians. He performed weddings for Christian soldiers because Emperor Claudius forbid soldiers from getting married. the Emperor worried that soldiers would be homesick during war.

Once he was in jail, he performed a miracle healing restoring sight to Julia, his jailor's blind daughter. Before his execution, he wrote a letter to Julia and signed it“your valentine”.

Remember to follow St. Valentine's example and communicate your affection to those you love today. Here is our Valentine to you.
