If you could encourage someone who is struggling this Easter, what would you say?

I may not know what they are going through but I would encourage them to continue trusting in the Lord because the Lord loves us, and He has told us that we should take all our baggage and needs to Him. He will make them lighter by helping us carry them. Just as He was victorious in death – He will be victorious in all our situations.

I also will offer my help or guide them to where they can find help and also pray with the person if it is within my capacity to help.

What does ‘Amani ya Juu’ (peace from above) mean to you in the context of Easter?

This is peace that was left to us by Jesus Christ when He ascended to heaven, this peace is like a running river in our hearts. Through the death of Jesus Christ we were forgiven all our sins and we became new beings. This peace is found by trusting God and accepting Jesus Christ to be the Savior of your life.

What message from Easter would you like to share with your colleagues at Amani?

Let us continue to surrender our lives to God. Because God is love, He gives us the ability to love one another and live in peace as one family. Let us also know how to easily forgive others just as Christ forgave. Lastly, fear God and abide by His word so that the work we do will be to praise & honor God.

In what ways can we incorporate the spirit of Easter—peace, love, and forgiveness into our workplace culture? By Having the fear of God and cultivating a relationship with God. This will enable us to relate with others with respect, love, and easily forgive each other. When we have love, we are peaceful and forgiving others will be easy leaving no bitterness.

In addition, let us all learn the word of God and strive to practice it, as the word of God is a guiding light upon our feet.

I Love all of you at Amani ya Juu & Happy Easter!

If you could encourage someone who is struggling this Easter, what would you say?

I would first pray for them and encourage them to join a church if they are not in any. Fellowship with others is important and helpful when one is going through a hard time.

I would also encourage them to not cease in prayer and offer to be their support system until they overcome whatever they may be going through.

And I would offer my help in what they are going through!

What does ‘Amani ya Juu’ (peace from above) mean to you in the context of Easter?

Amani ya Juu is trusting God who is above all, in all that I do and in every aspect of my life. In this Easter season we should remember to forgive all those who have wronged us, and in return ask for forgiveness to those whom we have wronged so that our hearts can be pure as we get renewed during this season.

What message from Easter would you like to share with your colleagues at Amani ya Juu?

It is good to draw close to God, and if you have not given your life to Christ, allow Him to wash you in the blood that He shed on the cross and allow Him to save you.

In what ways can we incorporate the spirit of Easter—peace, love, and forgiveness—into our workplace culture?

By allowing God to have a home in our hearts as God is love, and by learning and practicing His word. In His word he has commanded us to love one another, and where there is love – peace and forgiveness follows.

If you could encourage someone who is struggling this Easter, what would you say?

I would encourage them to continue trusting in the Lord, as Jesus already gave His life for our sake, He will not abandon them and will be with them every step of the way. What is important is to continue praying and  surrendering our needs to the Lord.

What does ‘Amani ya Juu’ (peace from above) mean to you in the context of Easter?

Amani ya Juu means refuge to me – in the context of Easter, there is peace to all of us, as Jesus died for all our sins and paid the price redeeming us. We are now free! Let us practice love and forgiveness as this is what Christ demonstrated to us.

What message for Easter would you like to share with your colleagues at Amani ya Juu?

It is also important to love one another as a family and to care for each other genuinely as Christ loved and cared for us that he died for our sins.

In what ways can we incorporate the spirit of Easter—peace, love, and forgiveness—into our workplace culture?

We should not speak or engage in arguments when we are angry. When one wrongs us it is good to wait until we come down to approach the person and let them know that they offended you and in which way. Let us correct each other with love, also let us not tire of forgiving each other and ensure we let go of any bitterness one has towards any colleague.

If you could encourage someone who is struggling this Easter, what would you say?

I will tell them not to give up no matter what they are going through, and let them know that God is with them always. They should continue ensuring their relationship with God is well cultivated by praying, reading His word, and by abiding by it. In His own time He will make all things beautiful.

What does ‘Amani ya Juu’ (peace from above) mean to you in the context of Easter?

Amani ya Juu to me is the peace that the Lord gives us after we give our life to Christ. You experience this peace even when going through a difficult time. God gave His son Jesus Christ peace from above even after he went through betrayal, beating, humiliation and crucifixion and he didn't act out of bitterness from what He had been through He instead chose to forgive.

What message from Easter would you like to share with your colleagues at Amani ya Juu?

Let us not be confused by the many denominations of churches in the world. Let us only worship God. After the curtain was cut into two when Jesus died, we were all empowered to approach God directly with our needs so let us be careful of the spiritual authorities we allow in our lives.

Let us not become idol worshipers by making our spiritual leaders into small Gods and neglecting the one true God who is a jealous God.

In what ways can we incorporate the spirit of Easter (peace, love, and forgiveness ) into our workplace culture?

When one wrongs you it's good to approach one directly and  privately and discuss the issue, then involve God by asking Him for wisdom on how to go about the issue.

Learn people's weaknesses and strengths and see how you can use their weaknesses as gentle learning points and teach them lovingly and complement them for their strengths.

Pray to God for patience & understanding.
