Amani Uganda began in 2011 when Simprosa returned home to Gulu with a vision to walk alongside women rebuilding their lives after conflict. What started with a few sewing machines has grown into a small, faith-centered workshop where women find healing, community, and purpose through meaningful work.

The Center
A small team of women work full time in our Uganda center, creating hand-crafted goods while building community and dignity together in a five-room home. The women gather regularly for Bible reading, prayer, and shared devotion. Through intentional discipleship and trauma-informed care, Amani Uganda seeks to meet each woman where she is.
