Kitenge Peace Angel Ornament

The Kitenge Peace Angel Ornaments is one of my favorite products made at Amani ya Juu. I order several at a time to keep on hand, celebrating special people, special events. I always give one to the parents of a newborn baby to bless their nursery. I give them as a gift topper on Wedding presents to bless the marriage. On milestone birthdays, I honor the day with the gift of peace and love, with a Peace Angel. I have even given them to commentate a love one that has passed to let those left behind to remind the survivors that the deceased is still watching over them. It makes me feel wonderful to support the women of Amani and give friends an uplifting message about those that made the angels. I always include the tag and message card from Amani ya just to spread the word of these remarkably gifted women.

We bought several of these to use as gifts when we visited Amani in Nairobi this fall. Gave one to our friends whose 2-year-old daughter we are told carries it everywhere! We kept 2 for our Christmas tree and are enjoying them along with all the other ornaments we purchased at Amani, Nairobi. You handworked is well done, good quality and very unique and special.

I fell in love with these little angels as soon as I saw them!! I hang mine on my tree at Christmas time and it brings me joy every time I look at it hanging it there!!!!
