Oven Mitts | Batik

First, I visited family in Nairobi who attends church at the café where the Amani shop is located. We had lunch at the restaurant then visited the shop. I was amazed by the quality of products. I wanted everything in the shop but settled on a quilt, table runner & tote. Even more, the ladies who worked at the shop are among the kindest, most loving people I’ve ever met. The mission of PEACE emanates from them.

My sister-in-law had several of the garland pieces. Upon returning home, I knew I had to purchase some. So….i purchased all available garlands on their website. Couldn’t love them more.

As for the oven mitts, they’re top notch quality. I pray for the women who made these products everyday when I see them around my house.

They made lovely and useful gifts this Christmas!
