Kitchen Lead
Job Summary:
The Livingstone is a coffee shop cafe located at our Chattanooga center supporting Amani ya Juu, a Christian nonprofit that economically empowers refugees in Kenya and Uganda. We are looking for a mature Christian to lead The Livingstone's kitchen and food service, working directly under The Livingstone manager.Duties:
- Cultivate a creative and nourishing community atmosphere in the kitchen
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook and assemble dishes as per recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Follow food safety guidelines at all times
Experience:
- Prior commercial kitchen experience, management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour + tips share
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
