Motherhood in Summer
As a mother of 3 small children, the backyard is an adventure I send them off too each day. Relying on nature's entertainment to squeeze in each task I can as they play in water, soil, roly-poly hunting and sometimes all three at once!
Yet when with a sink full of dishes and the laundry still unfolded, I find myself looking for my own outdoor play time. One of our favorite summer activities is snacking on grapes. The Lord truly had dessert in mind when he created these. We eagerly wait as they transform from green to purple, grabbing a few each time we pass, never escaping without sticky finders and a bit of a belly ache by the end of the day.
