Sirleaf Tote

$ 168
Carry a piece of African art history with you in the stunning Sirleaf Tote. The fabric originates from West Africa and is called "mud cloth" for its dye materials and techniques. Mud cloth is handwoven from hand-spun cotton, and is then dyed using natural dyes from the earth and various tree leaves. The Sirleaf Tote is hand-stitched at Amani and accented with black leather.

A tribute to the first female President in Africa, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the Sirleaf Tote represents the strength and dignity that President Sirleaf embodied for her people.
